A new instructions for a permanent Supply Planner with a global manufacturing client in the area.Duration/Salary/Benefits etc:

Hybrid working available 50% working from home and 50% office based.
39 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Woking as part of a professional Supply Chain Planning Team, this role will focus on on supply planning of allocated brands for global supply of co-packed items and requires a flexible proactive approach and the ability to deal with ambiguous information on multiple items which can change frequently, at short notice.
The Supply Planner will be key in supplies & inventory management for worldwide based distributors and has specific responsibility for issuing supply plans to co-packers, placing replenishment orders and ensuring these are expedited or delayed as necessary, with all information kept updated on SAP and communicated to key stakeholders throughout the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the supply planning of copacked items sourced globally.
- Preparing supply plans, raise purchase orders and follow these through with co
- Work to minimise obsolescence and maximise customer service using SAP and other
- Monitor stock levels vs inventory targets working proactively with Supply Chain
- Act as the key point of contact for the products in your allocated brands so you will be
- Work with Project Buyers and Project Management Office team to integrate new
- Ensure regular housekeeping of MRP lists on SAP is in place.
- Data input and reporting on SAP.
- Authorisation of component purchases buy copackers and tracking of inventory they
- Ownership of abnormal demand tracker (forecast changes in frozen period) and
- Requesting P2P transfers of finished goods when required.
- Active participation in monthly S&OP meetings.
- Cross working with global team.
- International travel possible.
- Compilation of quarterly financial provisions for your allocated brands.
EDUCATION AND PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Good level of education
- Proficiency in SAP,
- Knowledge and expertise of MRP list management in SAP
- Experience of placing purchase orders on SAP and following up with suppliers
- Highly numerate
- Excellent communication skills written and spoken in English
- Experienced at dealing effectively with people at all levels of an organisation
- Experience in a commercial or supply planning role
- Excellent organisation skills & proven attention to detail
- High level of computer literacy spreadsheets, databases, presentations
- Additional language skills an advantage although not considered essential
- Experience in multinational organisation with crossborder team working
