Overview:

We are recruiting for a Commercial Manager for our state-of-the-art facility in the Wirral.

We are an award-winning international design and manufacturing business with multiple sites across the UK and worldwide with plans to expand our current facilityin 2023 all driven by the strength of our products and order book.

Responsibilities:

Working as a senior member of the business, as the Commercial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting, developing and shaping future contracts and projects.

Whilst leading the estimating team, the Commercial Manager will also be heavily involved in contracts development and negotiations with customers in commercial, defence and aerospace industries
Take responsibility for managing customer relationships and be involved in identifying opportunities for new contracts
Collaborate with Business Development and Finance to identify, manage and prepare bids
Work with leading global clients to bid on new projects and negotiate contract terms with customers and suppliers
Ensuring all contracts adhere to current legislations and regulations required
You will be involved in representing our company at industry events
Liaising with all departments across the site to ensure all aspects are taken into consideration during contract and bid preparations.
Prepare and oversee customer and suppliers 'NDAs when required

We're looking for a talented Commercial Manager to manage commercial contracts, ideally within an aerospace engineering-based project environment along with:

Strong research skills and an in-depth understanding of financial analytics and legal agreements.
Experience drafting, negotiating and managing contracts
Exceptional negotiation, persuasion and judgment skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Leadership and management skills.
Strong presentation skills.
Attention to detail, thoroughness and mathematical abilities
