Reed Secure has partnered with a major UK Police Force to find a Project Manager to oversee one very ambitious project, delivering transformational change to meet the future needs of the business.

The Project Manager will be responsible for the execution and successful delivery of the project as allocated by the Change Portfolio Board.

Main Responsibilities:

Prepare baseline management products in conjunction with Project Assurance which are agreed by the board including the project brief, plans and authorisation of work packages.
Prepare project reports as required including highlight, issue and end project.
Prepare and maintain the project registers and logs in accordance with the governance and procedures requirements.
Attend dependency meetings and work proactively with other projects to ensure there is no duplication or conflicts in the work being undertaken.
Manage project monitoring and reporting including the project budget and updating progress on the project to all stakeholders.
Manage external suppliers and account managers.
Develop, plan and coordinate resources, produce papers and reports for board and committees, maintain stakeholder engagement and the project communication approach.

Must have:

NPPV clearance
Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and manage their expectations.
Have an understanding of procurement and financial management.
Have the ability to manage and coordinate project teams comprising a range of different professions, skills and experience.
Have the ability to set clear expectations and objectives to a project team and manage performance to ensure successful outcomes.
Experience and certifications in any of the following (or other recognised accreditation in the same field) are highly desirable: Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) Management of Risk (M_o_R); Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
