The AFC team is accountable for protecting Deutsche Bank from financial and reputational losses incurred by financial crimes, which is accomplished through assessing, controlling and mitigating risks.

On behalf of Deutsche Bank, AMS are now looking for a
Anti Financial Crime Learning and Development (Training) Specialist to work in their AFC team based remotely across the UK or if accessible to the Birmingham office -2 days per week ona PAYE basis.


Overview:


The Financial Crime Operations (FCO) Training team is responsible for the training program developed to support the FCO investigation teams.

You will be responsible for the development and facilitation of certain training as well as performing administrativeduties. You will be responsible for design and development of training content. In addition, you will be expected to manage training to new joiners and existing staff.


Key responsibilities:


  • Keep up to date on any new rules, regulations, and reputational risks and recommend new training and/or revisions to existing training; understand business and regulatory requirements and ensure training content is compliant
  • Maintain a thorough comprehension of internal Anti-Money Laundering (AML) typologies and products relating to Correspondent Banking, Private Banking, and Investment Banking clients
  • Understand investigations involving matters such as multiple relationship accounts, multifaceted transactions; international wires involving Deutsche Bank designated high risk jurisdictions and complex structuring schemes to identify potential money launderingor other financial crimes
  • Utilise internal and external sources and partner with other stakeholders as necessary to create new and maintain existing training courses; work with the FCO Training Leads and Investigations Managers to meet department objectives
  • Determine appropriate training solutions for assigned projects, based on analysis of business needs, performance goals, and audience

Skills and Qualifications:


  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Moderate experience developing and facilitating training as well as moderate AML compliance experience (transaction monitoring and SAR writing capacity a plus)
  • Understanding one or more of the business areas of investment banking, corporate banking, trade finance, asset management, and / or wealth management
  • Operational knowledge of AML Transaction Monitoring lifecycle, an understanding of the legal and compliance issues of complex banking organisations
  • CAMS certification is a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
