Change Grow Live (CGL) is launching an extensive Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services contract across South West London and are seeking
3 experienced employment key workers to cover Merton, Kingston, and Sutton to be part of this pioneering initiative.
This position provides an exceptional chance for you to influence and shape a groundbreaking service in Southwest London.
In this role, you'll support a small caseload of clients in structured treatment for drug and/or alcohol use, guiding and assisting them in securing meaningful employment.
Salary:
£29, £31,529.41 pro rata (depending on experience)
Allowances:
£2,163.27 Outer London Weighting pro rata
Hours: 37.5 per week

At Change Grow Live, we're at the forefront of the Government's Drug Strategy, implementing an essential cornerstone: Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services.
This model, aimed to cover all treatment services in England, significantly aids service users in finding and maintaining preferred paid work, proving far more effective than other employment support mechanisms.
Your Role:
IPS Employment Specialist
As an IPS Employment Specialist, you'll manage a caseload of up to 25 clients in structured substance use treatment who are motivated to start/return to work.
You will deliver the IPS approach, helping clients craft vocational profiles, job search plans, CVs, and providing interview coaching - all tailored to secure competitive employment.
Your responsibilities include ongoing in-work support, building relationships with employers, and fostering integrated connections with clinical teams and service providers.
Your Profile:
To excel in this role, you should have:
- IPS approach training.
- Level 3 Diploma in Employability Services Sector Qualification (or higher)
- QCF in Advice & Guidance (Level 3).
- Experience or understanding of supporting individuals with substance use needs or similar groups within health, social services, or the voluntary sector.
- Past employment service experience aiding people in obtaining or retaining work.
- Exposure to employer engagement, recruitment, or B2B sales.
