Description

Due to a restructure, a new role for a Depot Operations Supervisor has been created within my client's depot in Grantham.

The role will be to support the Depot Manager in overseeing day to day operations within a busy welfare hire business.


Main Duties:


  • Providing operational & administration support to all areas of the business.
  • Execution of the daily transport plan including day to day management of the driving team and all transport related compliance activities.
  • Ensuring that customer service levels are achieved and maintained, in conjunction with other departments.
  • Proactive and reactive customer communications.
  • Communicating effectively with customers and colleagues, providing a helpful and friendly point of contact for depot enquiries.
  • Liaising with yard staff to ensure availability of fleet
  • Deputising for depot manager when required.
  • Experience of plant and/or welfare hire desirable but the right attitude is more important as training will be given._

Salary:
£27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
