Pay Rate:
£18ph to £20ph Ltd

Hours 37.5 9am to 5pm Mon to Fri


Location:
South East London

Duration: 3 months on going contract

Job Summary
provide a service Trust-wide in a multi-skilled role.

This will include the updating of the Patient Information System, (PIMS), and management of health records staff, ensuring that work is allocated and completed efficiently, and training, induction anddevelopment of all staff is fulfilled.

D uties and Responsibilities


Manage the day-to-day business as usual service in Health Records in a satisfactory manner ensuring that an efficient and effective support service is provided.

Recruit new staff as necessary in order to provide a quality records service

Maintain and report staff sickness and absences within the Dept.

Take responsibility for the pulling and prepping of all clinics and inpatient requests

Be responsible for ensuring that all case-notes are tracked in and out of the Dept.

Liaise with the Deputy Health Records Managers, ensuring that the escalation process is effective for all unavailable records.

Monitor staff performance and KPI's and provide statistics for the Deputy Health

Records Managers on a weekly basis.

Complete incident reporting forms for all records related incidents and report them to the Deputy Health Records Managers.

Assist with the investigation of incidents reported

Take an active interest in the running of the department.

Ensuring sufficient levels of stock items are available and liaise with the Deputy Health

Record Managers when orders need to be placed.

Identify and ensure the merging of duplicate case notes across the Trust in line with

PIMS on both sites.

Ensure that all deceased patient records are dealt with appropriately and the PIMS

system is updated.


Manage the maintenance of case note folders including the filing of all loose papers and ensure that case notes are divided in line with the health records standards multiple volume numbering system.
