Foundation 92 is the official charitable partner of Salford City FC and the Class of '92.

Working throughout Greater Manchester, Foundation 92 is proud to deliver a wide and diverse range of high quality, high impact, sustainable programmes, across Greater Manchester.


Due to Foundation 92's increased delivery and engagement plans, an exciting opportunity and is looking to employ 1 part-time drivers who hold a D1 category licence.


  • Transporting the Foundation 92 Mobile Hub, to venues in and around Greater Manchester.
  • Responsible for the safety, comfort and welfare of the passengers.
  • Carry out driver's daily and weekly vehicle checks, and to carry out basic maintenance.
  • Report any vehicle defects, faults, incidents and accidents
  • Be responsible for the cleanliness of vehicles, inside and out and
  • Ensuring the vehicle is in a clean and roadworthy condition before and after use.
  • Refuel vehicles as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage.
  • Work within health and safety guidelines and other guidelines that may be issued from timetotime
  • To undertake any other associated duties as required by the Foundation.
  • Supporting with the boarding and alighting of passengers with disabilities.
  • Take the lead during emergency situations to ensure all passengers are safe.


Post holder will be required to drive for a minimum of 10 hours per week, flexible working is a requirement.

Person Specification Essential Desirable Qualifications

  • Hold a current, clean and valid driving licence
  • Pleasant approachable personality.
  • An ability to communicate with a range of people
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Reliable and trustworthy.
  • Honest, sense of responsibility and confidentiality.
  • Flexible approach to working arrangements.
  • Sensitivity to user needs
  • Willing to undertake training as appropriate.
  • Capability to maintain accurate vehicle and user records.
  • Competent to undertake daily and weekly vehicle checks and carry out basic maintenance.
  • MiDAS trained
  • PCV licence holder.


All work performed/duties undertaken must be carried out in accordance with the Foundations policies and procedures, within legislation, and with regard to the needs of our stakeholders and the community we serve.


Post holders will be required to be flexible in their duties and carry out any other duties commensurate with the role, as requested by management.
