RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT - Temporary division - Healthcare sector
Salary £23,000 - £25,000 plus bonus
Mansfield Area
Office based Mondays to Friday
JOB SUMMARY

THE ROLE:
- A recruitment consultant's role is demanding and diverse and involves:
- Managing and growing a busy temporary desk for the company
- Contributing to activities in order to develop the business. Using sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking in order to attract business from client companies
- Building relationships with clients and developing a good understanding of what they do, and their work culture and environment
- Telephoning staff on a regular basis to build and maintain a good working relationship and to establish their availability to work and record results on the internal system
- Establishing where there is a need for recruiting new staff, and drafting and placing adverts in a wide range of media e.g. social media, newspapers, websites, magazines, in accordance with the branch budget
- Requesting references and checking the suitability of applicants before submitting their details to the client
- Preparing profiles and correspondence to forward to clients in respect of suitable applicants
- Attending client/team meetings both inside and outside of the company to discuss progress, performance, issues or concerns
- Ensuring that own knowledge remains abreast of company regulations, Industry Best Practice Requirements and statutory legislation e.g. CQC regulations, DBS, new legislation/regulations which come into force. This includes employment, health and safety, statutory and contractual. This will be supported by the Office Manager and Senior Temp Consultant
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Proven sales experience
- Previous experience working within recruitment
- Selfmotivation and personal drive
- Team Player respecting other team members
- Good communication skills with both colleagues and external customers
- Able to resolve interpersonal difficulties in an appropriate and timely manner
- Customer focused
- Always displays "Can Do Attitude"
- Able to maintain appropriate personal presentation and appearance
- Able to work on own initiative
- Able to react positively to changing working practices and environment
- Drive and initiative to develop the business
- Car driver/owner due to the nature of the role this is an essential requirement
