All sounding good so far? Fantastic Here's an idea of what you'll be doing on a daily basis:

The purpose of this crucial role is to control the service centre Admin function ensuring the accurate management of purchase orders and timely processing of associated paperwork.

You will also be required to cover the payroll function for holidays /sickness.

There will also be an element of the role which will require you to support management with HR / general admin duties.

This role demands high levels of accuracy and numeracy and great attention to detail. As the role includes payroll cover, a high degree of confidentiality and discretion are a must.

  • Raising purchase orders for GNFR (Good Not For Resale)
  • Control, compilation and administration of agency timesheets and reporting.
  • Liaising with suppliers to order stationery, packaging and consumables etc
  • Control of training records and updating training matrices.
  • Supporting management with basic HR duties such as note taking, mail merges and control of postage.
  • Ensure weekly data checks and time period closures adhere time and attendance system deadlines
  • Produce weekly reports for Payroll performance
  • Produce various reports that are required on a monthly basis
  • Adhoc absence cover for Payroll Clerk
  • Any other reasonable requests as directed by management

Ideally, you will have previous experience in a similar role and the ability to identify areas for improvement to processes, supported by a sound business case.

You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will have intermediate Numeracy and Literacy.

Essential Criteria

  • MS Office experience (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • 2 years experience in an administration role. Desirable Criteria
  • 3 years or more in an administration role
  • 1 year experience in pharmaceutical wholesaling or FMCG background
  • Previous experience of payroll duties or payroll administration
  • Previous experience of GDPR or confidential admin processes
  • Previous experience of HR support/admin duties
  • Qualifications in MS Office/Excel
