My client, a very successful estate agency, is looking for an Area Lettings Director. You will be responsible for covering three branches in the West Midlands.
The role of Area Lettings Director is primarily strategic, responsible for developing the overarching vision set out by
the Group Sales & Lettings Director. You will take ownership of the P&L, paying particular attention to controllable

costs and revenue streams and you will work closely with the Area Sales Director, Group Sales & Lettings Director and Group Managing Director.

Operationally, you will oversee every aspect of the lettings process, including tenancy services and inspections,
ensuring KPI's are met and opportunities are maximised on revenue lines such as renewals, EICR's and any ancillary incomes.

In your role, you will be the main director-level contact for all lettings clients across the Group that do not have a dedicated AssetManager.

You will be responsible for building brand reputation for professionalism and superior service.

Beyond this, you are responsible for your direct reports as well as supporting them on any ad-hoc or complex people issues.

You will manage day to daypeople issues such as absences, performance, conduct and development for your reports.

Your overall goal will be to ensure that your team delivers impeccable service to clients, achieve set KPIs and work closely with other departments to create synergy acrossthe business.

You will also be expected to work with Operational Board members to develop improvements and strategy planning for the wider business.

Skills & Experience for this Area Lettings Director role:

  • Able to proactively motivate and manage the team to success, spot issues and solve themAble to delegate effectively and coach team members to achieve their goals.
Possesses the ability to critically analyse data, plan and deliver on strategy.

Show a flair for business, able to spot opportunities and overcome failure.

Fluent level of English with excellent spelling and grammar

Proficient IT user, able to use MS packages as well as a range of internal systems

Thrives in a fast paced, fluid environment

Holds a full, UK driving licence

Demonstrable experience of running a successful lettings business, ideally across multiple locations

Demonstrable experience in successfully taking ownership of a P&L

ARLA qualification or equivalent is preferred (or working towards)

Ability to identify market opportunities and can demonstrate how they have personally sourced new business
Benefits for this Area Lettings Director role include;
- £50,000 Salary (OTE £70,000)
