We have an exciting new role as part of the UK Learning &Development Centre of Excellence.

The Senior L&D Business Partner - Design & Facilitation, is responsible for providing L&D consultancy across AXA UK in partnership with key business stakeholders, strategic L&D business partners and senior L&D business partners.

The role will shape the design and facilitation of the AXA UK L&D offering, ensuring that it contributes to the delivery of strategic business outcomes and achieves the anticipated uplift in performance, return on investment and expectation.


What you'll be doing:


  • Providing L&D consultancy to MC, CEOs, ExCom, HRLT, the strategic L&D business partner and senior L&D business partners to design and facilitate learning content that enables the delivery of strategic business outcomes and ensures a culture of continuous learning
  • Delivering and shaping the AXA UK L&D strategy, by leveraging industry knowledge and emerging tools, techniques, models, and technologies and collaborating with the broader HR community and COE's to ensure alignment to HR and organisational strategy
  • Developing and maintaining deep trusting and respectful relationships with key stakeholders, to ensure the design and facilitation strategy is relevant, appropriate, futurefocused and recognised as an enabler to business performance
  • Leveraging knowledge and understanding of AXA UK and the business units' strategic direction to shape the delivery of the AXA UK Design and Facilitation strategy with a future
- focused mindset

  • Taking a strategically driven, outcomesfocused and evidencedbased approach to evolving and innovating our L&D offer to analyse and diagnose root cause and leverage both our external managed learning service provider and internal expertise, to curate and create cost effective, sustainable, and scalable content with a digital first and holistic AXA UK&I mindset
  • Overseeing the coordination of new work through the definition, discovery, design, development, deployment and iteration stages in collaboration with all key stakeholders
  • Providing visibility and reporting on the uplift in business performance, return on investment and expectation with key stakeholders
  • Growing and developing a team of deep technical experts in L&D practice
  • Prioritising selfdevelopment, proactively seeking out ways to remain current and credible identifying emerging learning and technological trends to innovate and improve learner engagement and effectiveness
  • Contribute to the growth and evolution of the AXA UK L&D CoE by adopting and sharing best practice, bringing outside thinking in and providing feedback and coaching to develop the team, and contributing as a strategic thought leader

Qualifications:


  • Experienced Learning and Development professional across all aspects of organisational and people development practices
  • Holds or working towards CIPD Level 5 Diploma in Learning and Development
  • An excellent understanding of HR and Learning and Development operating models, processes, tools, methodologies, techniques and adult learning practices
  • Ability to rapidly understand, assimilate and analyse data and insights to identify root cause
  • Strong relationship, stakeholder management, influencing and social engagement skills with the ability to build trusting and
- respectful partnerships at a senior level

  • Action oriented, delivery focused and excellent project management skills with proven experience in planning, managing,
- and implementing multiple concurrent programmes of work

  • Ability to develop a strong understanding of AXA UK, Business and HR strategy and where L&D can enable
  • Passion for delivering high quality work and continuous improvement
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and deal with conflicting priorities
  • Excellent commercial focus with an ability to draw down on external trends, emerging technologies, and benchmarking to
- innovate the learning and development offering

  • Experience of operating in a global, matrixed organisation would be advantageous
