We have a very exciting opportunity for a Site Quality Lead for a dynamic manufacturing company in North Wales.
Through the leadership of a team of Quality Assurance Technicians, provide support to the operations team in delivering the Site Quality Objectives.
Safety
Accountable for ensuring all members of the team, including themselves perform tasks, and operate / use equipment/machinery only to the level of their training and competence in a safe manner
100% Completion of scheduled Safety observations, Shift GMP and safety start up audits within immediate team. Ensure Task Based Risk Assessments and control measure are in place for all QA tasks
Full adherence to Health and Safety Procedures & Practices. Identify and report any conduct that breaches Health & Safety or does not fall within our company values, including all incidents and near misses
Conduct safety investigations in a timely manner following H&S incident
Quality
Represent site based Quality through the attendance of the Daily Operational Review (DOR) to ensure all quality matters are addressed and responded to in a timely manner.
Manage customer sampling and ensure any such samples are submitted in accordance with customer requirements.Manage all aspects regarding the control of non-conforming product and any associated paperwork, communicating with relevant parties throughout.
Ensuring that all operational quality employees adhere to the company defined quality standards, practices and work instructions
Ensure compliance with and site Quality System and site HACCP plan requirements
Ensure CI tools are applied consistently by Shift Quality Assurance to standards ensuring permanent fix is put in place to prevent recurrence of non-compliances and complaints
Delivery / Performance
Working with colleagues as part of the Site Leadership Team in order to challenge approaches and behaviours with the aim of achieving the site objectives and improving performance and quality across all areas within the business.
Through the line audit process ensure the quality team are adhering to product specification and are accurately completing all required product quality documentation.
