EYFS-KS1 Special Needs Teaching Assistants | East London| Required ASAP | Interviewing now

We are currently looking for an experienced Key Stage 1 Special Needs Teaching Assistant, to join our partnership Primary School based in Havering.

The role is a full time opportunity starting in January.

This role is ideal for anyone with experience in supporting behaviour and has a passion for supporting and caring for SEN pupils.

Portions of this role will involve conventional TA work, focusing closely on these pupils to make sure they are concentrating and engaged in class.

Experience of supporting challenging behaviour, in any capacity, is therefore essential as the school needsomeone who won't be phased by tackling bad behaviour.

Experience working with SEN and within a EYFS
KS1
KS2 setting
Skills such as Makaton, PECS, Non-Verbal, Behaviour Management etc
DBS on the update service
2 professional references and work experience gaps listed
ID documents and proof of address

To be eligible as an SEN Teaching Assistant role through Prospero Teaching you must:

Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
CV must cover your entire employment history where possible
Legal right to work in the UK
