Inclusion IQ are once again delighted to support our loyal client who has been operational for over 50 years and has grown internationally and has developed a reputation across the UK, Ireland, and Europe for being the leading specialist provider in their industry.


Due to significant growth in recent months, our client now seeks to appoint a full-time permanent Customs Administrator to join their NI headquarters.

This is an exceptional position for a highly experienced administrator who has a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and who is highly organized.


The Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for undertaking the following duties:

  • Customs data entry and processing, with high attention to detail in accordance with product classifications
  • Assist with compilation of information for monthend, customs & revenue, and for internal and external auditing
  • Classifying products against the customs tariff and explanatory notes
  • Work with colleagues to review the accuracy of all classifications for our products
  • Performing postclearance amendments to declarations that have resulted in incorrect declarations and ensuring these are corrected
  • Ensure all customs procedures and processes for suppliers are adhered to for compliance purposes
  • Verify and audit postentry customs declarations and trade data for customs compliance.

The Person

  • Minimum of 1year experience working within a Customs administrative position
  • Strong working knowledge of all customs processes within a dispatch environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Brexit processes including international trade arrangements and customs procedures relating to this.
  • Strong IT skills especially Microsoft Office 36
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel and databases
  • Good communicator with fluency in English
  • Aptitude to learn new skills and ability to take direction
  • Dedicated in overcoming challenges while remaining focused on team goals
  • Ability to work on your own initiative

Salary:
£24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
