NHS Property Services have a fantastic opportunity for an Office Team Leader position in Jubilee House, Walsall. The role attracts a salary of £22,219.72 & 27 Days Holiday.

The Office Team Leader will directly co-ordinate administrative and secretarial services for Estates Delivery Partners within the Midlands area.

Although the base location will be Jubilee House, Walsall there will be an expectation to travel within the regionto attend meetings and note take throughout the region as and when required.


You will be a key in ensuring that you directly support the Estates Delivery Partners with the management of information gathering, undertaking enquiries, as and when necessary, and preparation of complex documents, presentations and correspondence.


Their remit includes:

  • Assist with diary management to the Estates Delivery Managers
  • Coordination of the regional Senior Leadership Team
  • Room booking
  • Travel arrangements
  • Note/action taking at various locations in the Midlands
  • Data analysis and collation
  • Line management of 1 x admin in each EDP area
  • Work on own initiative
  • Great MS Office skills
  • Undertake administrative duties and provide support to internal meetings
  • Complete any data submissions or paperwork associated with the role
  • Undertake the rostering of staff and ensure all absences are appropriately covered in line with service delivery needs and performance expectations
  • Induct and where appropriate, train, new employees or less experienced staff
  • Manage a delegated budget
  • Taking telephone calls for the team when out of the office and use initiative to deal with phone calls and messages
  • Support teams in project management and participate in departmental events
  • Be proactive in reporting building maintenance defects to the relevant team.
  • Organise and plan events as necessary and ensure supporting information material is available.
  • Instil a culture of commercial focus and continuous improvement within in house teams and contract management to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of service delivery and ensure value for money.
  • Using company procurement system and HR systems, authorise where appropriate purchase orders and timesheets, line with Standing Financial Instructions.
  • Maintain personal and professional competencies and development. Make changes to own practice where required and offer suggestions for improving services where appropriate.
  • Support new and inexperienced members of staff to be familiar with local environment, policies and procedures.
