A really exciting opportunity has arisen, with some new funding, for dietitian with an interest in paediatrics to join the University Hospital of North Midlands Trust's Paediatric Team.

The post holder will primarily provide outpatient clinics for direct access from local GPs in North Staffordshire and Stoke following the referral criteria and as such is a community based role.


The post holder will join a friendly, supportive team of 12 providing a comprehensive Paediatric dietetic service that deliver a range of dietetic clinical duties in paediatrics providing an opportunity to gain some training and experience in specialist areas.


The post-holder will also have the opportunity to conduct audits, provide training to patients, carers and other community staff, and contribute to service development.

An interest in paediatrics and a desire to undertake relevant post-registration training is essential. Car driver and access to transport is required.

We will value your ability to use your initiative and you will have a flexible approach, excellent communication and time management skills and the ability to work independently, liaising effectively with a wide range of staff and patients and the public.
