Summary:

This parcel delivery company are looking for an experienced and hands on Operations Supervisor to join the team and run their evening sortation operation.

You will also be responsible for the drivers and their performance management as well as assisting with route planning and providing customer service support.

Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing the unloading of collections and loading of the trunking vehicle
Route planning using Openfleet software
Dealing with day to day and customer queries
Managing a team of c 10 drivers and their performance
Oversee van maintenance schedules and requirements

Key Skills/Experience:
Previous supervisory/team leader experience from a parcel/courier company
Able to drive a Reach FLT
Route planning experience using a software package - Openfleet preferred
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Flexible and willing attitude happy to undertake a hands on role
