Business Manager

We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager help the business generate new leads, sales, and winning business. You will be responsible to sell Signet Resources and our offerings to potential clients.


The responsibilities of the business manager include recommending ways to increase leads, generating and developing your own pipeline, recognising clients whose requirements are both long-lasting and of a large scale, attending meetings with potential clients,working closely with the wider business to propose solutions and present proposals.

To be successful, you should be excellent in relationship management & a natural networker.

You will also be adept at negotiating sound business deals as well as demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.


The role:


  • Generate leads working closely with the operational teams as well as through networking on your own.
  • Directing marketing efforts by presenting market research and local understanding to senior managers.
  • Meeting potential customers and turning leads into opportunities and successful closures.
  • Developing indepth knowledge of the company offerings and advising customers the right solution.
  • Working with the Senior management team to respond to recruitment solutions requests, quotes, and proposals to customers.
  • Initial managing of new Accounts, ensuring a good transfer to operations, and crossselling/upselling on existing accounts.
  • Regular meetings with accounts and opportunities.
  • Reporting key metrics and regular reports to management on leads, sales, and account management.

What you are looking for:

To excel in this role we are looking for someone who is detail-oriented and persuasive.

Alongside this we are also looking for:

  • Proven business development, sales, or account manager experience is essential.
  • Experience in selling recruitment to external companies is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and decisionmaking skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
