This Sales Administrator role is a permanent position working Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm in the office in Redditch and then 3.5 hours from home on Fridays Long term plan is to condense 37.5 hours into a 4-day working week A salary of £23-27,000 per annum is on offer dependent on experience.

As Sales Administrator you will be working within the friendly and supportive commercial team office with 3 others reporting into the Commercial Team Leader with the following responsibilities:

Processing orders from customers and subcontractors taking accurate weights and sizes of raw materials required to produce a stamping/ pressing.

Ensure latest pricing & delivery of outside subcontractor work, products and/or raw materials are reflected in all orders acknowledged including the obtaining of quotations for raw materials/products /specialist finishing required.

Administer customer schedules, customer orders, internal works orders and all associated paperwork, in a timely fashion.

Input customer orders onto the computer system (currently "Winman") as and when they are received, taking note of credit terms, stock levels and order dates, together with officially acknowledging orders to customers.

Where required, administer Export Paperwork within the rules and regulations of Customs and Excise.
Take progress calls from customers and act on in a timely manner (internally & externally)
Liaise with manufacturing departments to ensure that accurate information is always available, to enable effective production planning.

Liaise with internal teams to ensure correct products and materials are made available to optimise production and minimise stock levels.

Manage customer complaints in a professional manner and escalate to other departments as and when necessary.
Ensure stock levels of raw materials/ outside purchase products/ WIP & finished goods are kept to an absolute minimum.
Develop trust and a sense of goodwill with all customers and suppliers.
We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:
Previous experience working as a Sales Administrator, Customer Service Administrator or similar
Working knowledge of manufacturing or engineering environment
Good IT skills including MS Office, and any knowledge of Winman would be helpful but not essential
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent numerical skills with some knowledge of working with quantities, weights and dimensions would be useful
Be fanatical with the accuracy of your work, avoiding costly errors
An understanding of stock levels would be advantageous
The role requires you to wear PPE at all time when in the office environment
