Marketing Executive - London, United Kingdom - Connells Group
Description
An exciting opportunity for an ambitious marketing executive to join and contribute toward developing integrated marketing campaigns and support channel activity to promote our 50+ estate agency brands across the UK.
You will have a key role within our friendly team reporting directly into the Head of Marketing, supporting Sales, Lettings and New Homes.
This role requires clear and confident communication skills at all levels whilst maintaining a close working relationship with internal stakeholders across the Group.
Key responsibilities - but are not limited to:
- Work with the Marketing Team to help develop and deliver marketing campaign strategies and channel activity, to drive leads and generate income
- Contribute to marketing campaign ideas, planning, coordination and launch of activities inline with marketing budgets
- Evaluate and monitor progress of campaigns using key metrics and create performance reports
- Work closely and collaboratively with the inhouse design studio
- Write and proofread marketing and advertising copy for both online and offline channels
- Ensure brand guidelines are maintained across all online and offline media
- Work with the wider Group marketing team to promote other Group services e.g., Mortgage Services
- Conduct market and competitor research. Evaluate and report on industry trends
- Work closely with branches to support local marketing activities and sponsorships
- Attend and present at internal stakeholder meetings and campaign launch calls
- Travel to, present and participate at Group marketing team meetings
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external
- Create and send internal marketing communications
- Assist with administrative tasks and manage marketing inbox
Knowledge and Experience
Required
- Minimum 2 years' experience within a Marketing role.
Preferred but not essential
- CIM qualifications or equivalent.
- Work experience within a related sector.
Skills

- Confident communication, presentation skills (verbal and written).
- Excellent people skills with ability to quickly form relationships and rapport.
- Selfstarter who can manage their own time efficiently and prioritise projects.
- High level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- A creative thinker.
Preferred
- Creative with analytical thinking with commercial awareness.
- Quick learner who considers the whole picture when making decisions.
- Previous experience using project management e.g., Trello or similar workflow management system.
- Consolidating feedback from multiple stakeholders on projects.
Expected
- Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask and prioritise.
- Ability to work in varied work locations. E.g., office / branch / home.
- Strong competence in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability to write coherent creative briefs.
- Confidence to ask questions when unsure.
- Motivated team player.
