EMBS Engineering has an exciting new opportunity for an Mechanical Assembler to join a leading precision engineering business located in Tamworth/Lichfield outskirts.


As an Mechanical Assembler you will be working closely within a team to build precision engineered components for some high-profile industries.

You will be required to build parts to a high specification, ensuring quality checks are completed.

  • Previous assembly experience
  • Previous background of working with small to medium sized precision components for high profile industries including; Aerospace, Automotive, Motorsport, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Medical or any other advanced manufacturing sectors
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Able to use hand held assembly tools
  • Experience using powered air tools would be advantageous
  • Experience of working with stainless steel, aluminum, titanium etc.
  • Mechanical / Engineering qualification
  • City & Guilds, Diploma, Apprenticeship, NVQ etc.
