GTS Transportation is currently recruiting for a Key Account Manager for our client, an Automotive supplier, based in Milton Keynes.

Our client is growing and looking for an experienced Account Manager/Sales Manager to support their key clients across the UK and overseas.

This role will involve managing a portfolio of accounts, developing relationships, and ensuring all customer queries are dealt with in a timely manner.

You will attend networking events and present the business in existing and new markets.

As the Key Account Manager you will be responsible for the management of pricing, quality and pipeline projects, along with the management of the clients.

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a similar industry (Automotive/Aerospace/Defence/Motorsport) and have the following skills and experience;

  • BSc in Engineering or similar industry (desirable).
  • Hands on sales experience, with a proven background in delivering on targets.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
In return our client is offering £50,000 per annum, plus benefits.

This role is working from the office in Milton Keynes, with some hybrid working once you have passed initial training and induction.

You must be a commutable distance from the Milton Keynes office.
You will also be required to occasionally travel overseas.
