West Yorkshire Police is looking to appoint a Stores Clerk based at Wakefield District. Due to an internal promotion. We are happy to announce a vacancy to join our workshop stores team here at Unit 41 Workshop.
We are a multi car manufacturer stores department not dedicated to one type so it's a very demanding role.

The role requires the utilisation of a stores counter to address our technicians' requirements, issuing parts and addressing any problems.

Back-office function to support the counter person and our Vehicle Preparation Department, ordering stock, specific parts for jobs ongoing and processing invoices for our Finance team for payment along with frequent stock checks.

Salary starting at £23,121.00 which increases to £24,462.00 per anum (pro rata) through an annual increment.

Fri)

Overtime opportunities dependant on workloads.
Full sick pay for 6 months which drops to half for a further 6 months (depending on
length of service.
25 days (185hrs) of annual leave on appointment increasing to 30 days (222hrs) after
5 years' service.
