_High Quality Team Leader/ Senior Care Assistant wanted on nights - over £24,000.00 per annum._
The Senior Care Assistant will report to the Care Manager and will be responsible for all aspects of the physical and emotional care of clients and to provide leadership of the team.
Duties will include:
- To lead the shift and help the Manager take responsibility for the home and ensure it meets company objectives
- To administer and record medication as and when required in accordance to the Medication Policy
- To give a daily report to the person in charge at the end of each shift concerning the care delivered to the residents noting any changes
- To maintain liaison with professionals in a multiagency approach
- To provide supervision and support to the staff team
- To participate in the planning of care programs and the preparation of care review reports
- To assess the care practice of all staff ensuring the homes objectives are met
- To supervise and be involved in all aspects of the holistic care of the resident group
- To maintain administration and monitoring systems which comply with legal requirements
- To ensure compliance of all company policies and procedures
- To work flexible hours to meet the needs of the home 3 on 3 off shift pattern
- To participate in the 'on call' system where necessary
- To attend staff training courses and meetings
The successful Senior Care Assistant will have:
- Medication Experience and all the relevant certification.
- Own Transport or ability to get to work, public transport is present.
- Flexibility in shift patterns (3 on 3 off)
- Previous Senior Care Experience
- Suitable NVQ level

- providing care: 3 years (required)
