Paraplanner

Location - Rochester, Kent

Salary - up to £42,000 depending on experience - 5 days - 1 x WFH day - Full Time


We are an SJP Senior Partner Practice in Rochester looking to appoint an experienced Paraplanner to join our growing team.

Our Practice is highly successful and prides itself on offering a first-class service to all our clients, providing them with a range of investment and retirement products and solutions to meet their financial goals and objectives.

You will be providing technical expertise to support and assist in this process, through undertaking detailed research and analysis of a wide variety of financial planning solutions.

Plus, producing compliant financial planning reports for our Financial Advisors/Partnersto present to clients


As one of our Paraplanners, you will be the go-to individual for advice on technical queries and your duties will focus on covering the full client journey, including conducting research to source suitable solutions; completing detailed and informative reportsand liaising with the Administration team to ensure business is accurately processed and systems are correctly updated.


The role - Paraplanner

  • Supporting the advice process within our Advisory team
  • Compiling and creating suitability reports
  • Sense checking advice guidance and compliance
  • Policy information chasing and checking
  • Good understanding of financial advice processes
  • Growing business with progression avenues

Requirements, Skills & Experience

  • You should be an experienced Paraplanner with great report writing skills
  • 5+ years' experience in financial services, SJP experience hugely advantageous
  • Level 4 Diploma is desirable but not required if you have good paraplanning experience
  • You will have experience of Life, Pension, and Investment products. IHT & Final Salary pension transfer case experience advantageous
