About the Group
Corporate Centre
The Corporate Centre Group provides a wide range of corporate services to enable people at HM Treasury and many of the other organisations who form part of the Treasury Group (including the Government Internal Audit Agency, the Debt Management Office and the new National Infrastructure Bank) to operate effectively and efficiently.
The Corporate Centre Group is made up of: Commercial; Correspondence and Information Rights; Finance; Human Resources; Information Workspace Solutions (IWS); the Flexible Safer Working team, the Darlington programme team and Treasury Group Shared Services (based in Norwich).
About the Team
People and Capability Team
The HM Treasury People and Capability team delivers a wide range of services and people solutions for the department.
The team has HR and diversity and inclusion professionals and also colleagues with a background in Treasury policy work to provide a diverse skills mix.
We work closely with senior stakeholders to make sure that our work supports and adds value, and the department has a genuinely collaborative culture.
We are a friendly, multi-skilled and diverse team.This is a high priority, exciting and fast paced area of work, with ample opportunity to develop a wide range of skills, help embed cultural change in the department, and work closely with a range of stakeholders, including senior leaders, across the department.
Key Accountabilities
The Head of Data Analysis is a new role in the People and Capability function.
There is a fantastic opportunity to shape the role and bring leadership and innovation in how we design and deliver people and diversity MI and insight for the organisation, including the diversity and HR data dashboards.
You will work with colleagues across People and Capability, as well as the wider department, and with professional networks across the Civil Service.
Key Accountabilities include:
- Leading the development of a People Analytics Workplan for the People and Capability function
- Leading the delivery and continuous improvement of HM Treasury's Diversity Data Dashboard
- Developing a new People and Capability data dashboard, that provides people insight for senior audiences
- Developing a set of measures to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of the actions in HM Treasury's new People Strategy
- Building the capability across the People and Capability function in undertaking data analysis, and interpreting and reporting data
- Establishing strong working relationships and best practice sharing with partners in HM Treasury and across the wider Civil Service
