The University of Central Lancashire is one of the world's Best Global Universities leading the way in modern learning. Based in the heart of the North West, the University has campuses in Preston, Burnley and West Cumbria.

We are looking for two Facilities Supervisors in Estates Services to assist in the coordination and implementation of cleaning, maintenance and events within the University Estate based at Preston Campus.


Reporting to the Facilities Manager you will assist in the coordination and implementation of cleaning, event set up, facilities activities and events within and external to the building.

You will providing first level supervisory support advice and guidance to the cleaning staff; ordering supplies and equipment.

You will play an important role in supporting the Facilities Manager to ensure all activities are delivered in line with Health and Safety legislation overseeing as well as undertaking cleaning tasks throughout the year.

This is a new role at our Preston Campus and is an opportunity for you to demonstrate your excellent customer service skills and play an important role in building and developing the team.


You will be supported by the wider Estates Services team, as well as working with internal staff and contractors in line with Business need.


You will be very organised and flexible in your approach to work; having the ability to work both independently and as part of the wider Estates Services team, and able to work occasional evenings or weekends to meet the business need.

You will be educated to NVQ level 1 or have the equivalent experiential learning.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 10:1- 17:30

Friday 10:00 - 16:30
