**Emergency Department Ward Clerk

24 hours per week (2 x 12 hours shifts)**
The Balfour Clinical Admin

Band 2 £24,866 - £26,872 including Distant Islands Allowance pro rata per annum

Permanent

Due to the nature of this role there will be a requirement to be able to provide 24/7 cover, including weekends and PHs, with salary enhancements payable up to £24.38 per hour.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Emergency Department Reception. We currently have a team of 5 permanent ward clerks who work on a 4 week rolling rotation. Our team provide 24/7 reception cover and play an integral part in the smooth running of the clinical services.

Hard working and a good team worker with effective communication and organisational skills.
Able to work in a calm, logical and methodical way
Able to work under pressure and multitask without being distracted.
Able to cope with lone working

Experience of working within the NHS or similar public sector organisation is not essential but would be beneficial.
