Key Stage 2 Teacher required to teach a small Year 6 class for the remainder for the academic year.

This lovely South Birmingham Primary school are looking for a Key Stage 2 Teacher to teach a Year 6 class with excellent behaviour and the support ofwonderfulTeaching Assistant.

This vibrant and nurturing primary school islooking to add a superstar SATs specialist to the team to teach a class of 20 Year 6 pupils.

This role requires a Key Stage 2 Teacher who understand how to help children to achieve their fullpotential.

This role requiresa QTS Primary Teacher with Year 6 experience.


Main Responsibilities:


  • To plan lessons and activities to meet pupils individual learning needs as a Year 6 Teacher
  • To use a range of appropriate strategies and follow school policies for teaching, behaviour management and classroom management
  • To act as a Primary Form Teacher, exercising pastoral care and to do all that you can to ensure that you safeguard and promote the welfare of pupils in the school
  • To assess, monitor and record the progress of pupils in your teaching and give them clear and constructive feedback through keeping appropriate and efficient records
  • To report to parents and colleagues on progress and curriculum
  • To take responsibility for your own professional development as a Primary Teacher and use the outcomes to improve your teaching and your pupil's learning
