Our client based in New Milton are looking for a Purchasing Office Assistant to join their team and help achieve their goals of excellent service and growth as a team.
Your specific responsibility is to support all purchasing and stock control activities via administrative excellence which will help deliver our world class IT Infrastructure to a wide variety of clients both domestic and international.
Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to high quality customer service and exhibit a willingness to grow as part of a team and within the role.
Purchasing Office Assistant duties to include:
- The ability to communicate effectively with other department heads.
- To understand and follow correct procedures for creation of new products and supporting purchasing/ stock control activities and process.
- High level of care required with a good eye for detail and quality.
- Willing to perform other duties within capability, training given.
- Able to prioritise work.
- Must be able to comply with safety standards and practices.
- Must be numerate and able to perform material stock checks when required.
- Follow and understand inductions to required safe working standards to be able to work safely within both administrative and industrial environments.
- This position would ideally suit someone with administrative experience, able to work in an office environment and keen attention to detail.
- 3 GCSE's or equivalent
- ECDL, Excel, Word. Experience with a CRM preferable.
This is a full-time permanent position with an immediate start available, the standard working week is 37.5 hours Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00.
