NRS UK has an amazing opportunity for a skilled Children's Home Responsible Individual to be instrumental in the start up of a new Children's home group in Hounslow, London.
We are recruiting multiple Ri's across North, East and west London. (We are also recruiting Children's Home Registered Manager.)

There are options for either a full
Full Time 40 hours Salary £ 65,000 - £75,000 per annum (depending on experience) Scaling up to £94,000 at the highest salary band

This role is on a Permanent basis and there are also Bonus' worth up to 5k a year on offer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

To be the Ofsted registered Responsible Individual for the children's home and act on behalf of the organisation to ensure that the home meets relevant requirements set out in legislation.
To provide effective leadership and management of the home.
To ensure a high standard of consistent care and service in accordance with legislation, government guidance, regulations and standards and the policies and procedures of the registered provider.
To oversee the management of placements within the home and to liaise with managers in formulating jointly agreed plans to ensure a coordinated approach to services for children and young people.

Skills and Experience:

Substantial experience of managing care planning practice in children's homes. A wealth of Ofsted experience identifying, assessing, care planning, delivering, monitoring and evaluating outcomes.
Extensive knowledge of law and practice relating to looked after children.
Have the business and management skills to supervise the management of the service efficiently and effectively.
A minimum of two years' experience in roles requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role.
You will ensure that the Registered Home Manager provides a high standard of consistent care/ service in accordance with legislation, central government guidance, regulations and standards and the policies and procedures.
You will have autonomy in the decisions and management of placements within the Residential provision, and liaise with the Senior Management Team in formulating jointly agreed plans to ensure a coordinated approach to services for children and young people.
The successful applicant will hold a minimum of a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
