Description
The role covers a mix of maintaining the Company ISO Accreditations ensuring that they are consistent with legal requirements, end-to-end employee lifecycle HR functions and supporting all company activities within the group, collaborating with externalHR portal and H&S consultants.
The business is has maintained consistent growth in recent years and is looking at a positive outlook.In more detail, your role wll cover:
- Maintain existing accreditations in place including Environment and Health & Safety
- Consider further accreditations and present cases for implementation to SLT
- Gain ISO and other accreditation for a new company within the group.
- Work with site teams to assist and ensure processes and records are maintained collated in line with ISO standards and providing any additional training requirements as necessary.
- Maintain register of IT and telecoms equipment
- Revise existing and create new policies, with SLT, that are compliant with statutory regulations
- Booking and compiling for findings from HS&E audits
- Work with Project Teams to ensure quality of projects, ensuring subcontractors are assessed on performance
- Work with Project Teams to revise procedures, identify hidden risks, or nonconformity issues where necessary
- Provide support to the commercial teams and subcontractors and collate data related to projects
- All HR matters including recruitment, employment contracts, induction, training, keeping track of employee attendance including holidays and sickness absence
- Fleet management
- Assistance with use of Microsoft packages and document presentation
- Ad hoc administration duties as required to support the sites and office teams, which could include ordering materials, vans and equipment.
- Collate live information from all areas of the business on compliance matters, training data, and all matters relating to SHEQ
- Attend training programmes, where necessary cascade the information to the workforce
- Conduct compliance training relevant to roles e.g. site compliance for new starters
- Registering and maintaining all equipment for required testing and the associated record of data
- Liaise with external bodies and be aware of changing industry requirements
- Product training material and best practice advice
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will have experience in relevant Compliance accreditations and audit along with a generalist HR knowledge.
You will have a hands on approach, be a team player and be willing to multi-task as the role is varied in nature.
You will be required to make site visits to ensure our process are being.You will possess a can-do attitude and will play a pivotal role bridging across departments.
