The Learning Resources Centre (LRC) at the South Thames Colleges Group is looking for a Digital Learning Resources Advisor - someone to support students and staff with the use of LRC services, online library and digital learning resources.


Based at Kingston College, the Digital Learning Resources Advisor will provide frontline support in the College Learning Centre and they will create online guides and content for the Group's Student Portal.

They will select and embed digital resources, including e-books, in the Group's virtual learning environment.

There are two staffed Learning Centres at Kingston College - a recently built, modern Learning Centre and the Learning Centre at the College's Creative Industries Centre.


We'd like our Digital Learning Resources Advisor to hold a Level 3 qualification and have experience of working in a customer focused environment, delivering a good or better level of customer service.

You'll have excellent knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word as well as good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams.

Able to work effectively without supervision, you'll be a strong team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills, including an ability to adopt an approachable manner when dealing with customers.


The ability to design and create good quality online content, including text, images and video, is desirable, as is experience of supporting users with technical support.
