LEVEL 2 Teaching Assistant - SEND

Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm


Experience working as a teaching assistant in this capacity is desirable however experience as a support worker/ care worker will equally be considered.

We are looking for teaching assistants who are adaptable, dedicated, passionate about working with childrenand happy to work on a day to day basis with potential outlook to long term.

The job role is as follows:

  • Supporting pupils with EHCPs to access a broad and balanced curriculum.
  • Establish good working relationships with pupils, liaise with the teacher & utilise strategies to support pupils in achieving learning goals.
  • Assist with the display of children's work.
  • Promote good pupil behaviour, dealing promptly with conflict and incidents in line with established school policies.
In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;

  • Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
  • Have schoolbased experience of working in a UK SEND setting.
  • Be a qualified Level 2 teaching assistant.
  • Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.
