Responsibilities:


  • assist with financial operations, including reporting, provisions, invoicing, accounts payable & receivable, cashflow control, stock control and fixed asset register
  • assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts ensuring timeliness, accuracy and completeness
  • take responsibility for the sign-off of monthly sales figures and various other monthly reports
  • take ownership of P&L overhead cost schedules including querying variances of actual costs to expectations
  • prepare month end balance sheet reconciliations
  • be the first line escalation point for sales ledger and purchase ledger
  • prepare the bi-annual sales submissions
  • assist with the year-end audit
  • wider finance team and ad hoc project support as required

Profile:


  • Ability to prioritise and organise own work.
  • Ability to set and work to deadlines.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA part qualified or equivalent.
  • Experience of preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Knowledge of budget preparation.
  • Good knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages, specifically of Excel.

Salary:

£35,000 - £40,000 + study support + benefits
