Are you an excellent organiser, who prides yourself on attention to detail? Do you have experience of complex administration and/or events coordination?


Briggs Equipment is hiring for a Training Coordinator to join our friendly L&D team on a 12 month FTC, to support us during a period of increased workload, whilst our team implement a new digital learning management system.


Your role would be working closely with our existing Technical Training Coordinator, to provide additional support to enable our team to continue to provide a high level of service to the business during this busy time.

The role will have a focus on organisingand administering Induction and Materials Handling Equipment Operator training for our Engineers across multiple sites.

Previous experience of training administration and organisation, and knowledge of Materials Handling Equipment (i.e. FLTs, MEWPs) would be advantageous, but is not essential. You will need to enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues and have experiencein a fast-paced complex administration role.


As a Training Coordinator you will be responsible for;

  • Working with the Technical Training team to efficiently and effectively plan and coordinate a calendar of internal and external training, taking into account training priorities, trainer availability/utilisation, venue availability and course requirements,to optimise training delivery and completion in line with business needs
  • Continuously reviewing training matrices, certification expiry dates, and requests to identify training required / attendees for planned training courses, taking into account the location of training/work location, number of colleagues to be released fortraining from same teams at one time, training priorities
  • Monitoring for new starter Engineers and organising for new starter Engineers to attend Technical Induction and new employee FLT Driver training in a timely manner
  • Liaising with colleagues across Group to book rooms, venues and equipment for courses
  • Administrating the electronic Learning Management System (LMS) including, setting up courses in LMS to reflect training planned
  • Responsible for ensuring all course administration is completed accurately in a timely manner, including but not limited to sending joining instructions, reminders, attendance lists, notifying depots of planned training, logging and saving certificatesto employee files, distributing certificates to employees.

As a Training Coordinator you will demonstrate;

  • A collaborative approach, able to work effectively in a team
  • Experience of working in a fastpaced complex administration role
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Effective communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • High levels of IT literacy (MS Excel)
  • The ability to prioritise your workload and flexibly react to change

As a Training Coordinator you will command;

  • A base salary up of £24,000pa
