The Maternal Medicine MDT & Pathway Coordinator will play an integral part in supporting the Maternal Medicine team and the Multi-disciplinary team (MDT), delivering a high quality service to our patients whilst also ensuring national standards and other relevant targets are achieved.

The post holder will provide high quality administrative and support to the Maternal Medicine Team. There will be a requirement to prepare, attend and record live minutes at Maternal Medicine MDT meetings.

Post MDT the expectation will be to ensure that all actions are complete in a timely manner to allow patients to progress through their pathways in a timely manner and without delay.


The role will assist in the achievement of time critical maternity care milestones by supporting in tracking individual patient pathways and proactively identifying any risks or delays to patients.

Ensuring any corrective actions are taken and escalations processes are followed to avoid any delays to patient pathways.

This role is to provide a high level of administrative support to our maternal medicine service.

This will involve working closely with specific clinical leads to track and monitor patients in our service to ensure that they are receiving appropriate and timely care.

The post holder will play a key role in supporting the MDT meetings and use judgement and experience to manage this MDT structure.
