Opportunity Overview:
Resource Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Trade Processing Associate to join ABN AMRO Clearing Bank in London.
This role is a12-month contract.
ABN AMRO Clearing Bank N.V. (AACB) is a leading global player in clearing and clearing related services. We provide professional clients access to financial markets around the globe.
By working together we are responsible for processing approximately 15 million transactions per day meaning that AACB consistently ranks among the top three clearers in every time zone, based on turnover and market share.
This opportunity offers an ideal opportunity for an individual to gain exposure in a fast paced and high-performance workplace.Role Objective:
AACB's Operations in London specialise in the post-transaction management of both exchange traded and OTC derivative positions. Key processes include trade allocation and market reconciliations, cash and position reconciliations, regulatory reporting, corporate actions and invoicing.
Additionally, Operations UK manages the physical and cash delivery of a wide range of derivative products including, commodities, currencies, debt instruments, and emissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of client queries and communication for derivatives
- Open interest maintenance on all European markets
- End to end management of the physical delivery process
- Management and facilitation of the option expiry processes across all European markets
- Responsible for ensuring all derivatives business is allocated and claimed
- Responsible for ensuring reconciliation breaks have been actioned and cleared T+
- Regulatory reporting ownership, including: exchange, EMIR and MIFID II reporting
- Administration of invoicing for various processes
- Exposure to initiatives and projects both locally and globally
Skills/Experience Required:
- 2 years' experience in a professional working environment
- Bachelor Degree
- Experience working within the Banking / Financial Services industry is essential
- Derivatives knowledge and experience
- Knowledge of European markets and foreign exchanges
