The opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a new Cataloguer to join the team. The fundamental purpose of this role is to ensure efficient and accurate cataloging of items, products, or materials. You will work closely with the small, tight-knit Whisky.
Auction team as well as key contacts in our Warehouse and Delivery teams.

The role is based at our head office in Park Royal, so you must be able to commute to this location.


Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Check items for damage and fitness for sale

Catalogue bottles and accessories when they are received

Communicate with all customers in a professional manner and escalate any issues to management level if needed

Answer calls professionally and transfer queries to the correct department or pass on messages correctly if required

Meet and greet customers when delivering items for auction

Support the Whisky.
Auction stand at shows.


Your blend of talent

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to build good rapport with customers
  • Good numeracy skills
  • IT skills; Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, Outlook
  • The ability to multitask in order to meet the required deadlines
  • A teamfocused approach; the ability to build relationships with and provide support to other team members

Desirable

  • Premium Spirits knowledge
  • Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) qualifications
  • Experience of selling luxury or specialist products
