Opus Vitae are actively recruiting for a
Community Engagement Executive for our client who are one of the largest rural broadband providers in the country.


The role of the Community Engagement Team is to be the initial 'face' of the company, representing our clients brand in your area and introducing their products and services to potential customers located in rural communities.


Reporting to the Community Engagement Regional Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising activities in your specific area and being the local representative.


This is a field-based role and will involve regular travel and some overnight stays, so you must be comfortable driving distance and being away from home. You will receive the following equipment;

  • Company car with fuel card (for business use only)
  • Company debit card for expenses
  • Mobile Phone
  • Laptop
  • Tablet
  • Branded workwear

Working Hours:
Monday-Friday, Day Shifts, 9am - 5:30pm, overtime available at time and a half.


Salary:
£25,000 per annum. Uncapped commission, paid monthly in arrears.


Attributes we're looking for...

  • Must have a full UK Driving Licence
  • Essential
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and written, comfortable with knocking on doors.
  • Prior experience/knowledge of using CRM systems, such as Salesforce or Zoho.
  • A team player, who has a great personality, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
  • Able to work on own initiative and with mínimal supervision.
  • Goal and target orientated.

Your daily job duties will include...

  • Completing canvassing door to door with potential customers, gathering information
  • Build relationships with key personnel, residents, and businesses within the community.
  • Support the sales team by gathering quality prospect data to convert to customers.
  • Support the marketing team by gaining information regarding local and county activities.
  • Support the NetOps teams with initial assessments for proposed new networks.
  • Present at community gatherings, events, and shows.
