Description

Drivers Direct Recruitment are looking to recruit a
Van Driver/ Warehouse on behalf of our client to join their team in
Washington.

Hours of work:


  • Days starts.

Salary:

- £11.73 to £12.41 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)


The Role:


  • Delivery of furniture on 3.5t vehicles in twoman teams.
  • Delivering to residential addresses.
  • Physical handball of heavy furniture.
  • Safe processing and movement of goods within the warehouse.

Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures.
  • Ensure all delivery, collections and warehouse duties are carried out in accordance with company procedures.
  • To deliver to customers in a safe and professional manner.
  • To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift.
  • To comply with health and safety at all times.

Essential Skills:


  • Must hold a valid
    driving licence.
  • Must be over 21 due to insurance stipulations.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good customer relations.
  • Be physically fit and able.
  • No more than 6 minor penalty points due to insurance stipulations.
  • No DR's, IN's or DD's offence codes due to insurance stipulations.
