Job Description The Role**You will support, co-ordinate and administer a range of commercial activities supporting PRS UK's Sales Executives, including customer account management, project management, bid management and commercial governance.


This role will aid PRS UK to nurture and grow successful key account relationships within our supply base and will play a key part in facilitating sales growth of PRSUK's full scope of manufacturing and supply in the UK and overseas.


A day in the life of a Sales & Commercial Administrator

  • Support the Sales Executive(s) with commercial administration tasks required for managing key sales accounts, including reporting, project management support and bidding activity.
  • Provide support to manage key customer interfaces, develop relationships, and be a point of contact for key clients as required.
  • Support the creation and submission of estimates / tenders within company commercial directives.
  • Providing updates and supporting the negotiation of changes to optimise internal and external outcomes.
  • Support the development of new customers and markets.
  • General Contract and commercial management as directed by Sales Executives/Sales Director.
  • Specific Project Management of orders to ensure successful profitable delivery as directed by Sales Executive(s)/Sales Director.

Qualifications About You**Essential

  • Experience working in a sales / commercial environment
  • Demonstrate the ability to listen to customers, assess their needs and help develop plans, products, and services to meet them
  • Having an awareness of the process of professional quotations to match the client's specification, and to the Company's capabilities.
  • Ability to work in a busy and sometimes complex working environment and the ability to liaise closely with Engineering and Operational departments to achieve key deliverable milestones
  • Demonstration of basic Project Management skills to cater for the client's day to day needs and to ensure cross departmental cooperation to help provide winning bids
  • Ability to rapidly learn new technology and engineering concepts
  • Commercial acumen

  • Strong IT Skills (MS OFFICE)


  • UK Driver's License

  • Own car with business insurance
Desirable

  • Diploma in business or engineering
  • Broad technical sales / engineering background, preferably in the rail sector.
  • Previous experience using Salesforce
