COMPANY


Super exciting B2B Energy Tech business is continuing to expand We are supporting their growth through the introduction of additional senior IC sales professionals.

This PE backed, profitable, scale up business plans to increase its headcount by 50% thisyear across sales, marketing, product and tech departments.

They provide technology led energy services and solutions to business and corporate customers across the UK, and plan to expand into Europe.

Their technology platform supports energy procurement,carbon reduction, and ESG compliance, through data-led analytics and live insights that drive informed decision making and effective strategy execution.


ROLE
As the Business Development Director you'll take a lead role in acquiring net new customers into the business.

With the support of their tele-marketing and marketing department you'll be introduced to prospective customers across the UK, helping those businessesgain better clarity and control on their energy spend whilst also supporting their Net-Zero and sustainability initiatives.

Client energy spend ranges from £250k to £70m per annum, with customer contact points typically being the Purchasing and Finance departments.

Sales cycles tend to be 3-12 weeks.


YOU
You're an experienced and proven new business sales professional from the Tech industry. Energy Tech is a bonus but not essential. We are interested in those selling SaaS solutions or IT Services to mid-large businesses. To help with alignment, TCV averageover 3 years is £70k, with 3-12 week sales cycles.
