Who we're looking for
The focus of the Team Assistant will be to provide comprehensive diary support to members of the Marketing Executive Committee/Senior Marketing team and additional administrative assistance to the wider Marketing and Communications team.
You will also be responsible for servicing existing clients and prospective clients by preparing and distributing data on Schroders' products.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with secretarial experience who also wants exposure in a role supporting our clients within a busy global marketing team.

The base

The team
The Global Marketing and Communication team is a friendly team of over 100 people responsible for all aspects of marketing to the retail, intermediary & institutional channels.
The Marketing and Communication department includes global content and media, events, brand adverting, corporate communications, growth and digital marketing, marketing services, proposition marketing and digital.
What you'll doFor the administrative part of your role you will be:
- Proactively managing multiple diaries and ensuring a smooth running of day to day meetings.
- Booking client/internal meeting rooms and liaising with hospitality catering and AV.
- Processing monthly expenses and invoices.
- Organising and coordinating team onsite and offsites.
- Updating team organisation charts.
- Assisting the Executive Secretary team with administrative duties.
- Providing cover and ensuring adequate support across the function is regularly reviewed.
- Producing monthly/quarterly client reporting tasks by required deadlines.
- Maintaining product data across global consultant databases.
- Undertaking data checks for other team members.
- Maintaining the workflow management tool.
- Recording and filing all workload in accordance with FCA requirements and the process manual.
- 2 years+ experience of working in a team assistant role and supporting a group of senior managers.
- Multitask, prioritise, track, follow up and manage tasks on time.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to pick tasks up quickly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook/Work/PowerPoint.
- Advanced Excel skills an advantage.
- Experience in reporting to clients and understanding of asset management products an advantage.
- Experience liaising with clientfacing and investment professionals an advantage.
- Highly organised, able to prioritise and to deliver within strict deadlines.
- Able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders.
- Excellent communications skills.
- An effective team player.
- Able to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment.
