Description
The main duties for the successful Cover Officer include:

Ensuring that the appropriate cover is arranged for all staff absences.
Recording any absences and staying on top of all planned and unplanned absences.
Providing analysis of data and liaising with the Deputy Head Teacher about any improvements.

Profile
The successful Cover Officer with be consistent with creating and maintaining accurate records.

Flexibility and the ability to work well in a team as well as independently is imperative to this role, whilst ensuring a close attention to detail remains at all times.

A large knowledge and ability to use various IT packages, including databases and word processes would be very useful.
