Finance Manager - Excellent benefits - Hybrid working - up to £75k per annum

As the Finance Manager you will be part of an established team who pride themselves on being collaborative and ambitious who are constantly looking for ways toimprove existing processes and procedures.

Your areas of responsibilities

  • Deliver monthly management accounts ensuring the timely ledger posting of month end journals and the review of the numbers with relevant stakeholders. Areas of responsibility include Inventory and Cost of Sales, Pay, Marketing, Technology and other overheadareas.
  • Ensure that all variances are understood and deliver insightful commentary
  • Ensure that balance sheet reconciliations are completed/reviewed to agreed deadlines with all reconciling and unsubstantiated items investigated and resolved promptly. Areas of responsibility include Inventory, Accruals and Prepayments.
  • Preparing technical accounting judgements for onward review with senior Finance Stakeholders.
  • Ongoing improvement of month end process efficiency and effectiveness
  • Effective incorporation of new business activity into routine Finance process
  • Design, implement and operate a set of financial control processes related to inventory that integrate into wider operational controls regarding inventory
  • Review and submission of quarterly VAT returns with an understanding of partial exemptions
  • Preparation of deliverables for the interim, annual and half year audits
  • Provide support to the accounting team in budget/forecast preparation
  • Work closely with transactional teams to deliver endtoend process efficiency and compliance
  • Provide support to nonfinancial departmental heads with financial information when required
  • Assist in the development of those reporting to you
  • Assist with Adhoc reporting requests
To be considered for the role

  • You must be fully qualified with at least 3 years experience at PQE
Very good skills on excel and accounting packages

  • Able to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Line management experience
