About Us
Sense Scotland are currently seeking a part time support practitioner offering 18 hours per week to work within our Visual Impairment and Learning Disability Services (VILD) within our Outreach Services in Bishopbriggs/Springfield.
Supporting someone with a learning disability and sight loss requires specialist skills, however we will support and train you to ensure you have the skills to support effectively.
Our training will help you understand the impact sight loss has on daily life and provide you with the skills, knowledge and confidence to meet the needs of the people we support.

About you
We are looking for individuals who are sensitive to people's needs and proactive in supporting people to lead active lives.
You will have a good understanding of the need to support people to stay healthy and safe, while being comfortable at managing risk accordingly.
You will use the best of your personality and skills every day.From supporting people to enjoy their favourite activities to enabling people to live independently, you will make a real difference.
