Description

International consumer services business currently looking for an IFRS16 Accountant to join their Group Finance Team.

Reporting into the Technical Accounting Manager the role will be responsible for being the technical expert for leases within the group.

The role will provide technical accounting advice and support as necessary across the international lease portfolio andcontribute to the delivery of technical lease accounting training to the wider finance team.

Formulate project plan for the remediation of the IFRS16 accounting towards audit.
Ensure the effectiveness and robustness of Group IFRS16 consolidation.
Drive continuous improvement of the IFRS16 reporting systems and control processes acting as a key stakeholder in the Finance Transformation Program.
Work with the regional Finance Teams to identify areas for improvement to support the quality and efficiency of IFRS 16 financial close, reporting and audit processes across the group.
Train the regional Finance Teams in the operation of the IFRS16 standard.
