Teaching Personnel are recruiting for Behaviour Support Assistants to work in our client school.

1-1 Teaching Assistant / Behaviour Support Assistant


The school is a Pupil Referral Unit in Bournemouth, catering for Secondary aged pupils who have been excluded from mainstream education.

This includes pupils who are temporarily excluded, permanently excluded and pupils with SEN (Autism, ADHD, SEMH). Thepupils can display challenging behaviour.


As a 1-1 Teaching Assistant / Behaviour Support Assistant you will be responsible for engaging the pupil in their education.

Work will be set by the class teacher and you will support the pupil with this. You will also be responsible for behaviour management,working in line with the schools behaviour policy.


Due to the nature of the role, we are looking for TA's who are resilient, confident with behaviour management and have a good sense of humour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
